Think your emails always get delivered? Think again!

These days, email is a key customer communication channel for most businesses. Many companies spend a lot of time and resource developing emails to deliver important communications such as invoices or statements. Email is also a core component of many businesses marketing tactics – done well it is an extremely cost effective way to get in touch with your customers.

However, most people think the job is done when they hit the send button. Increasingly this is not the case (as the recent report from Return Path shows). Globally there are declining inbox placement rates as mailbox providers constantly refine their filtering technology to keep unwanted emails out of the inbox.

Only 4 in every 5 emails reach the inbox. If you’re using email to communicate with your customers, that is around 20% of your electronic mail that is not getting through.

As the Return Path report states, “Worldwide, just 79% of commercial emails land in the inbox”. While this is bad news for businesses that rely on email to communicate with customers, the good news is that technology is available to help ensure your essential electronic communications reach your customers inbox. Cumulo9’s email delivery platform; Mailprimer Mailpost delivers hundreds of millions of emails every year with a 99.9% measured deliverability rate plus full tracking and reporting.

Bucking the trend of the global decline in deliverability rates, Cumulo9’s measured delivery level of 99.9% can help you communicate with more of your customers and increase revenue, not to mention what you could save on postage!
