Cumulo9 Partner TFM returns to Australian GT with rebuilt Ferrari 458 GT3

Following a serious collision at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, Cumulo9 partner Trass Family Motorsport, New Zealand’s Ferrari racing team, will return to the Australian GT Championship in next month’s Phillip Island 101 with a freshly rebuilt Ferrari.

The accident was a blow for the Kiwi team after scoring pole position and a podium finish for drivers Jono Lester and Paul Kelly.

The lengthy break between events has allowed TFM, in conjunction with Maranello Motorsport, to freight the damaged car to Italy for a full re-shell before returning to Australia before the next race.

That race is the Phillip Island 101, one of two endurance rounds in the 2015 AGT Championship with the capacity field racing for 101-laps around the iconic seaside circuit.

Trass Family Motorsport are sitting third on the points ladder behind Nathan Antunes (Audi) and Tony/Klark Quinn (McLaren) and the rejuvenated team are seeking outright victory and another spirited battle with the talented field.

Cumulo9 CEO Chris Hogg says “We’ve been closely following the progress of TFM and are excited that they’ll be back and in fine form for the Phillip Island 101. We wish them all the very best.”

In addition to Cumulo9, Trass Family Motorsport is supported in 2015 by other key partners including Paul Kelly Motor Company, Vortex Racewear, CRC, iSign It, Pixelsaurus, Broderick Print, Continental Cars: Official Ferrari Dealer and The Ferrari Owners Club of New Zealand.
