Cumulo9 December Update

2022 is almost at an end, so it is time to reflect on the last 12 months, which have flashed past. Below is an overview of the rewarding but challenging year and the progress, developments and achievements of the Cumulo9 team.

Overview of 2022

The year started with huge uncertainty around COVID and the regulation thrown at it. Economically we are by no means at the end of the tunnel, but businesses are, on the whole, moving forward. In the IT sector, there has been a noted uptick in the staff merry-go-round as projects have been signed and staff are needed to implement. At Cumulo9, we lost a couple of staff members but were delighted when we were able to replace them with new staff to join the team who bring additional skills and talents that have helped us grow and move forward at a greater pace. Additionally, we have expanded our ability in the CCM arena by signing a valuable partnership with Digital Business People in Singapore.

Cumulo9 as a business continues to grow, and our offerings continue to expand. We continue to expend effort on the eInovice front and are delighted that we have been accredited as suppliers by both the New Zealand and Australian Governments. We will also receive accreditation from Singapore by Christmas this year.

In parallel, we have made progress with our Citizen Vault solution – our vision of a Digital Identity solution and digital document repository as well as a centralised hub from which payments can be processed. We recently conducted an exercise to review the UN Sustainable Development Goals to determine how Citizen Vault helps to meet them. We were very surprised to learn that a software solution can satisfy all or part of nine of the 17 stated goals. This is significant for our push into South East Asia. Citizen Vault will assist the lower decile level of the population in managing their income better and how it is spent. While simultaneously providing them with a Digital ID that they own, thus providing them with a level of independence and freedom not previously known.

Alongside these activities, we conducted our first annual audit to retain our ISO 27001 accreditation and moved forward with BCorp accreditation.

In parallel, we continued our support of the Gut Cancer Foundation; the IT Startup community through MORGO and our passion for motorsport through our sponsorship of Liam Lawson, who finished the year with a flourish in Abu Dhabi.

We could not do any of these achievements and progressions without the support of our customers, and for that, we thank you on behalf of Cumulo9. Have a safe and happy holiday, and do not hesitate to contact the team here for any inquiries before the Christmas break.
