Business Email Deliverability – Demystified

Business email deliverability.  It seems that whoever you talk to there is a different understanding of it.  Well, that is probably because it is a very complex topic that involves every component that an email touches.   In simple terms, email deliverability refers to the likelihood of an email arriving in an intended recipient’s inbox.   Deliverability is affected by many things including; email creation, generation, the MTA (Mail Transport Agent), email configuration, network issues, SPAM engines, recipient servers and recipient email clients.

Here at Cumulo9 we work closely with our partners to constantly monitor email activity and trends around the world. Together with Vision6, we have pulled together some of the most pertinent information relating to deliverability. We’ve put this into a white paper that focuses on understanding what deliverability is and helping you to improve your deliverability rates.

Speaking of deliverability – our current rolling monthly deliverability average for Mailpost is an industry leading 99.85% so if you have any questions about this or anything else for that matter – please feel free to contact us here.
